- Maybe it was a reflection on the quality of the company Bertie’s bandmates were providing on the first leg of the Secrets and Lies national tour… but whilst recuperating in Launceston after a weekend of packed shows in Tassie something compelled Blackman to put paint to plywood and invent her own circle of friends, albeit rather dark and creepy ones, in the greatest case of re-animation since Dr. Frankenstein cried “It’s alive!”!
